Telstra’s financial results have continued to follow a pattern common among major telcos in this fast changing market, wherein revenue from mobile voice and data services offsets declining revenue from the fixed-line voice sector. The diversification of Telstra’s business means that fixed-line voice accounts for a falling proportion of overall revenue. The company is also increasingly diversifying into international markets, particularly those in Asia.
This report provides financial results for Telstra for FY2013 and FY2014, together with an overview of the key highlights during each period. It also covers financial data for the half-year of fiscal 2015. Detailed financial statistics and comparisons are given for each of Telstra’s service areas including mobile, internet and IP solutions, the public switched telephone network, and international operations.
