Synopsis

Samsung Electronics is a supplier of telecommunications equipment and services. It is a subsidiary of Samsung Corporation, a large Korean conglomerate. It is organised into four main business units - Home Network, Office Network, Mobile Network, core component Businesses. It trades internationally with 25 worldwide production bases, 59 marketing subsidiaries and 23 overseas offices in 46 countries. Samsung has an e-commerce agreement with Yahoo! that includes the collaboration of the two parties in Internet-related businesses that target customers within and outside Korea.
