Synopsis
Huawei Technologies is a privately-owned Chinese high-tech enterprise which specialises in research and development, production and marketing of communications equipment, and providing customised network solutions for telecom carriers in optical, fixed, mobile and data communications networks. In 2003, it was regarded as one of the major suppliers of xDSL and optical products in the world. It is also heavily involved in the deployment of 2.5G and 3G networks, mainly using the Chinese TD – SCDMA technology.Related Reports
