Focussing on the fixed network, this report introduces the major operators and profiles the infrastructure and voice markets, providing a historical snapshot in 2005. Fixed network and services markets in Germany are dominated by the incumbent, Deutsche Telekom, and Mannesmann Arcor. MobilCom, BT Global Services and debitel are other notable players in the market.
