Synopsis
Listed on the Australian and Singapore stock exchanges, EasyCall International (EasyCall) is the holding company of the EasyCall Group, and is controlled by Boustead Singapore Limited. EasyCall is primarily a provider of paging services in Malaysia, and of paging and Internet services in the Philippines. The company used to operate throughout the Asia-Pacific but, with the rapid decline in the paging business, its operations contracted substantially over the 1999-2001 period. In 2000, EasyCall attempted to diversify towards Internet Data Centre services. However, with the global IT downturn, this proved unsuccessful, and the Group is looking towards new avenues for future growth.Related Reports
