Synopsis

Incorporated in USA in 1993, the company moved its operations to China in 1995. It pioneered the development of China’s IP infrastructure. It designed and built the Internet communications backbone and access networks for five of the six licensed telecommunications carriers in China, China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile, China Netcom and China Railcom. It completed an IPO on Nasdaq in 2000, raising US$127 million. As the dominant Internet infrastructure solutions provider in China, AsiaInfo provides carrier grade broadband network infrastructure, e-commerce solutions, high-end VPN’s, fixed-line and wireless operation support systems, and carrier grade applications software.
