Synopsis

In July 1998, AT&T announced its intention not to vote to extend the WorldPartners Partnership Agreement beyond December 1999. In December 1998, Telstra announced that it would sell back its 10% equity stake in WorldPartners Company. A dedicated, digital, point-to-point private line data service between member countries. A reliable and cost-effective means of transmitting high-volume, high-quality, voice, data and multimedia applications.
