It provides fixed-line and wireless telecommunications infrastructure in Australia and Asia. It operates through subsidiaries and has equity investments in two fibre optic cable networks. Its fixed-line subsidiary, Visionstream, is constructing an AU$850 million 8,500km fibre optic network for Nextgen Networks running from Brisbane to Perth through the mainland capitals. Its wireless subsidiary, LSE Technology, undertakes infrastructure projects in Australia, South Pacific and Asia for governments, telecommunications carriers, mining companies and defence departments, including base stations for Optus and Vodafone mobile networks.
