Synopsis

Voxson is an Australian based developer and manufacturer of GSM/GPRS modular engines and their derivative products including its own range of GPRS/GSM and GPS products. It commenced operations by designing and marketing car radios, hi-fi equipment and other consumer electronic products In the early 1990s it began its in-house design of analogue cellular technologies and, in 2001, outsourced the manufacture of its GSM dual band handsets to Malaysian company Solectron. The company changed its board and management structure in 2003, and commenced a cost savings program together with a significant development program for new products. Cash flows are still negative.
