Telstra’s previous E-Commerce and Multimedia Division encompassed Residential Internet Services – BigPond, directories, entertainment and Children’s entertainment, and e-commerce – involving Sausage Software, Compuserve (abandoned), Solution 6, Keycorp and others. None of these e-commerce ventures had been particularly successful. Telstra has also formed the Broadband Developers Partnership with other web and multimedia developers in order to improve its cable TV offerings.
