Synopsis
Based in Perth WA, Swiftel Ltd is a full-service telecommunications provider. Its corporate division, Swiftel Communications, provides wholesale carrier-grade data communications, managed data networks, co-location and data storage. In 2004 it merged with People Telecom a fixed-line and mobile voice services provider. Swiftel owns a fibre optic IP network and data centre in Perth CBD, which extends nationally through interconnection with Comindico and Telstra, and internationally via Asia Netcom and SingTel. Its SME and residential division provides broadband ADSL access in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and interconnects with Telstra ADSL.Related Reports
