The strong European broadband market has propelled several EU countries to the top of the league table for broadband penetration. Denmark, Finland, The Netherlands and Sweden enjoy penetration rates over 30%. ADSL remains the most common form of broadband access and in Eastern Europe the proliferation of ADSL services is well and truly underway, with services available in every country. ADSL markets are more developed in countries with liberalised voice markets. This report provides an overview on the broadband market in Europe.
