Optus Mobile is an operating division of Optus which, in turn, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Telecom. Optus Mobile is the number two mobile network in Australia with around 35% of the mobile market. The company has a nationwide GSM network providing coverage to 95% of the Australian population. The company holds a national 3G licence and partners with Nokia to develop high-speed mobile data technology and services.
