Summaries are given of Optus’ capital expenditure since start-up, together with a list of major projects commissioned by Optus to establish its infrastructure. For the year ending 2003, total capital expenditure decreased 37% to $850 million. Expenditure was lower in all areas. After 2002, the capital expenditure analysis is given in the Optus – Business and Financial Statistics report. This historic report tends to deal with the capital works associated with the building of the Optus network.
