Synopsis

Link Communications was founded in 1961 as one of Australia’s first privately owned telephone answering companies. In 1983 Link launched one of the world’s first alpha-numeric Messaging services. The company was progressively sold to BellSouth during the period 1987 - 1992. In 1995 the majority of the company was bought by a consortium led by PT Bakrie Communications Corp.
