Synopsis

The network’s 1 billion annual transactions account for US$1 trillion in goods and services. In 1965, GXS (then known as GE Information Services) introduced MARK 1, the first commercial, computer-timesharing service. GE ecXpress Australia is a joint venture company of GE Global Exchange Services (GXS) and local investors, ECOMM Australia. Over 80% of all messaging transactions in the retail supply chain in Australia are managed by GE ecXpress.
