CorpTEL’s shareholding in the company was bought back by EZI Phonecard. RSL COM Australia bought a majority share in the company in December 1997. The first release of cards took place in September 1995 with a two-month trial period in Sydney. Overseas trials were carried out on access to Australia from 23 countries and distribution was initiated in mid-January 1996.
