The company previously operated as CXA Communications, but changed its name to Breathe Group Ltd in December 2000. In September 2000, following continued poor performance from its Xacom subsidiary, Breathe rolled Xacom into a subsidiary company. In February 2001, this subsidiary, including all the assets and business of Xacom, was sold to KMN Limited. Telecell is a Vodafone (prev Telstra) premium mobile phone dealer (see below).
