Synopsis

Access Providers (AP) is a licensed telecommunications carrier and provider of business-grade wireless broadband solutions for the Australian SME market. The company has established Australia’s largest commercial business-grade fixed wireless broadband network and operates on the 802.16 wireless standard. It has successfully deployed its fixed wireless network in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney and plans to expand its coverage nationally. Access Providers plans to launch its wireless Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service by late 2005 or early 2006. The acquisition of ISP Saise Telecom took its number of business customers to well over 50,000 by November 2005.
