Synopsis

90East (Asia Pacific) is an Australian-owned company that provides Information Risk Management services to the federal government and commercial clients. In September 2002, 90East acquired Australian Internet company Peakhour, which was merged into 90East. Peakhour began operations in February 2000 as an Application Service Provider (ASP). However, following continued financial losses, in 2001 it withdrew from its less profitable retail services, reshaping its operations towards wholesale business, managed hosting, IP solutions and Web services. 90East estimates that the combined entity should become profitable by mid-2003, with revenues of $15 million a year.
