Synopsis

In July 2003 I organised a Wireless Broadband Seminar and Roundtable. Especially WiFi has the potential to be a very disruptive technology. It offers other players, such as property owners, the possibility of acquiring a slice of the $40 billion telco market. And existing telcos, ISPs and broadband operators can use the technology to bypass the incumbent network operators. The key to success is to develop the correct business model. We didn’t come up with the solution. Enclosed is a report on this very successful Roundtable.
