Synopsis

This report was archived in September 2007 and has not been updated since July 2006. With the increased use of mobile phones especially by children and teenagers, there has been an increased call for regulations. By 2005 the ACA had produced an industry code. On the other side the ACA has also been working together with the industry to open up new business opportunities in the market. This led to the developments of the PSMS market. This of course is closely related to numbering issues. Also in this market spam is appearing, requiring further regulatory attention.
