Synopsis

In a maturing cellular mobile market such as Australia, messaging is becoming an increasingly integral part of the predominantly voice-based mobile service. This means paging’s broad appeal is losing more and more ground. Paging however has established itself extremely well amongst a group of dedicated users. This report takes a look at a market that has lost favour with many consumers as they turn to the mobile phone. Research was discontinued in 2003.
