Synopsis

A number of years of sluggish global economic conditions weighed heavily on the Asian digital media market in Asia, slowing growth rates. Operators have had to contend with falling advertising revenues amid some declining consumer demand in the region. Whilst this was the overall trend across the region, there have been some exceptions, notably in China, India and South Korea, where distributors and platform providers have experienced growth markets. Now the market is lifting generally, as operators introduce new and improved platforms and content. This report provides a general overview of the region’s digital media market.
