Synopsis

There has been a significant move away from a price-driven scramble for subscribers, to a model aimed at making existing subscribers spend more. In an attempt to achieve this, both Vodafone and Telecom have introduced a wide range of services to the market in the last 18 months. Upgrades to both mobile networks have seen a significant rise in mobile data opportunities. This report looks at the growing number of mobile services available to Kiwi users as well as market surveys, ARPU figures and other developments.
