Its recent announcements regarding Motorola Mobility, Google+, Google Wallet, Google Offers, and YouTube Rentals indicate this company is again making important strategic moves that it hopes will position it well for the future. In addition, Google is closing down some services which have failed to take hold, such as PowerMeter and Google Health. Google’s moves are often influential - even if they aren’t profitable.
