Synopsis
Archived report. This report was archived in July 2004 and has not been updated. With the roll out of fixed broadband lagging well behind that of comparable countries, wireless broadband is seen as a possible alternative. There are two large-scale projects underway, but increasingly also WiFi is looked at as a potential alternative. While there are certainly great problems for large-scale deployment there are also niche market opportunity for WiFi in the local loop.Related Reports
