Archived report. This report was archived in 2005 and has not been updated. Since the industry downturn in 2000, the fixed equipment market has declined considerably, with some equipment suppliers facing closure or takeover. All have rationalised their businesses and reduced staff.. Forecasts for 2003 and 2004 show some encouraging signs, with most potential in Asia.
