Global - Broadband - NGNs & Infrastructure

Synopsis

Archived report. This report was archived in 2008 and has not been updated since. Next Generation Networks will have a major impact on current infrastructure. Voice services are under pressure from VoIP, and the new nextgen (NGN) platforms are going to have a major impact. Mobile communications will consolidate in mature markets but continue their spectacular growth in developing countries, mainly Africa. The Mobile Data market has not yet developed into a mass market, and most HSPA services are still aimed at the top end of the market, for business users and professionals. Wireless broadband is much more suited for the delivery of mobile data, and the infrastructure also has better potential for the delivery of VoIP. This report looks at NGNs from an infrastructure perspective. Further information and analyses is available from a separate report.

Ventura Team routinely use BuddeComm reports for mobile and broadband fibre projects we undertake in Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia. They are just much better value for money compared to the bigger and more expensive reports prepared by other well known telco research houses.
