Slovenia has a small but sophisticated mobile market, served by three mobile network operators and a number of MVNOs. One of the first to launch 3G and MVNO operations in the region, competitive market conditions resulted in the smallest mobile network operator ceasing operations, with its assets taken over by an alternative operator and services relaunched. A competing 3G services ahs been launched and HSDPA services are also available.
