2. What is BuddeComm’s Affiliate Program?

3. Why should I join?

Joining BuddeComm's Affiliate Program enables you to offer access to quality content from your site, and at the same time gives you an opportunity to earn commissions. BuddeComm's Affiliate Program allows you to turn your traffic into revenue, while providing a service to your site visitors.

4. Is my Web site eligible to become an Affiliate?

Most sites relating to information technology, e-commerce, Digital Media or the Internet may qualify to participate in BuddeComm's Affiliate Program. Anyone may submit an application, but BuddeComm reserves the right to refuse membership to a site or revoke a site’s membership at any time if the site is deemed unsuitable.

5. Does it cost me anything to become an Affiliate?

No. It costs nothing to join BuddeComm's Affiliate Program. There is no charge upon application and there is no minimum sales requirement.

6. I operate more than one Web site. Can I still be an Affiliate?

Yes. You can have multiple sites as an Affiliate. One Affiliate account with BuddeComm can cover all your sites. You can track the progress of each of your sites separately, yet have the convenience of receiving only one commission payment.

7. Can a Web site outside the Australia be an Affiliate?

Yes. As a global company, BuddeComm creates research reports based upon information worldwide. We welcome Affiliates from anywhere in the world.

8. How do I sign up?

First, read BuddeComm’s FAQs. Then complete and submit BuddeComm’s online application form - BuddeComm Affiliate Application Form, or contact the office directly regarding this program. After we review your application, we will contact you to discuss your application.

9. How does the program work?

BuddeComm's Affiliate Program allows you to make money by linking customers to BuddeComm's web site. You do this by placing a special link to BuddeComm on your site. Every time a customer links to BuddeComm from your site and makes an online purchase, you earn a commission.  Commissions are calculated monthly and if greater than $500 payment is made.  If activity does not reach the $500 threshold, BuddeComm will reconcile the commissions quarterly, or when the Affiliate relationship is terminated.

10. What are my responsibilities as an Affiliate?

The Affiliate Agreement describes the terms and conditions in detail, but you are primarily responsible for establishing and maintaining BuddeComm’s unique web site link on your site.

11. What are BuddeComm’s responsibilities?

BuddeComm will provide links and other support to help you maximise sales through your site. BuddeComm handles the filling of orders, billing and customer service.

12. Can I participate in other Affiliate Programs?

Yes. BuddeComm expects that you will use links to BuddeComm in an appropriate context and manner, but BuddeComm does not otherwise restrict your participation in other Affiliate Programs.

13. Will becoming an Affiliate increase traffic to my site?

BuddeComm’s Affiliate Program is a revenue-sharing program; it is not designed to increase traffic to your site. However, by virtue of the fact that your site will be enhanced by the addition of relevant content, your user return rate may be higher.

14. How do I create links?

BuddeComm will provide samples of the links you may require and these can be cut and pasted into your Web site.  Additional links can be copied from the BuddeComm website and easily modified to include your unique affiliate identifier (SiteID).

15. Where should I place the links on my site?

You should place links to BuddeComm where they are easy to find and applicable to the context of your site. Suitable areas would be your home page, your navigation bar or other high-traffic areas. You know your site and visitors best and we will help you learn about BuddeComm’s research so that you can select the most appropriate links for your audience.

16. What happens when a visitor to my site clicks on a BuddeComm link?

Depending upon the type of link you choose to install, clicking through can bring the user to the BuddeComm web site home page, to specific Table of Content pages for particular research reports, or to any other page on the site that you may consider appropriate. Users can review descriptions of reports and Tables of Contents free of charge, and they can select to purchase reports using a credit card. Upon credit card approval, customers have immediate access to the documents they have selected (PDF format).

17. How often should I update my links?

If you are linking to the BuddeComm web site home page, your information will be as current and up-to-date as we can make it. If you want to advertise specific reports using the Table of Contents links, you may want to update the links reasonably frequently to capture and advertise new information as it becomes available. We can help you with this by including you in our e-mail subscription service, which will prompt you as new reports appear, and provide brief summaries on the reports you may find useful in your promotions.

18. How will you know that the orders originate from my site?

The links from your website to the BuddeComm website need to include a unique identifier (SiteID) for your site. BuddeComm provides this SiteID and it needs to be added to every BuddeComm link when defined to your website.  Every time a user comes to BuddeComm via one of these links, the related SiteID is recorded so that we can credit you when a purchase is made.

19. How much can I earn?

BuddeComm cannot predict how much you will earn from our Affiliate Program because results depend upon the nature of your site visitors, what their need for BuddeComm's information is, and the size of their budgets.

20. How do I know how much commission I’ve earned?

BuddeComm affiliates are provided with a unique login to access the BuddeComm Affiliates Online Reporting System.  This system allows you to view sales and commissions accrued for the current period or any previous period while an Affiliate with BuddeComm.

21. How often do I get paid?

Commissions are calculated monthly and if greater than $500 payment is made.  If activity does not reach the $500 threshold, BuddeComm will reconcile the commissions quarterly, or when the Affiliate relationship is terminated.

22. What about returns?

BuddeComm will manage and handle all requests for returns, and your commissions on reversed transactions will be adjusted accordingly.
