Synopsis

In February 2000, World Access Inc, a U.S. long-distance carrier bought WorldxChange. In April 2001, World Access filed for bankruptcy, and consultants were appointed to sell off all of its operations. WorldxChange Communications Inc, (WxC) is a highly automated global telecommunications carrier based in San Diego, USA. The parent company shareholders are CTS Telecom Inc and Wintelco Inc.
