Synopsis
Coinciding with this change in brand, WorldCom NZ ceased being an ISP to the residential market. The move has been prompted by a decision to concentrate on corporate services and existing business customers are unaffected. In October 1997, it was recognised by Colmar Brunton Research, as the “ISP most preferred by New Zealand businesses.” Ownership developments and difficulties over the 1999/2001 period, however, set the company back somewhat.
