Synopsis

Vanco is one of the largest global Virtual Network Operators (VNO). It is predominantly involved in the design, installation, management and security of data and voice over data networks for corporate customers. It operates and manages the networks for customers to agreed standards on long term contracts. By 2004, 70% of Vanco’s clients used Private IP solutions (MPLS, ATM, Frame Relay etc) with 30% running Public IP. By using other operators’ equipment and maintenance services, the company can concentrate on customer service, and has established a good reputation by doing so. It was listed on the main market of the London Stock exchange in 2001.
