Technology - IPv6 7 - Transition & Adoption

Synopsis

We discuss several techniques by which computers on traditional IPv4 networks, including the Internet, can become part of the global IPv6 Internet. These include the tunnelling systems 6to4, Teredo, ISATAP and Tunnel Broker. We also discuss the key areas of likely early adoption of IPv6, including for 3G IP Multimedia Subsystem usage, and in China, Taiwan and US government agencies.
