Synopsis
Request is a private Australian company that is a facilities-based wholesaler of DSL-based broadband Internet access and VPN solutions. It was acquired by PowerTel Ltd in March 2004, previously being controlled by Hong Kong-based Telecom Venture Group. The company sells its broadband solutions to SMEs throughout Australia through a national network of licensed channel partners. Request owns and operates a Cisco-based broadband network in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. The network extends to other cities and regional centres by integrating with Telstra’s DSL network.
