Regional - Infrastructure - VoIP & NGNs in the Americas - 2007

Synopsis

Archived report. This report was archived in 2008 and has not been updated since. Although uptake has not been as fast as originally expected, VoIP is gaining ground. Initial quality problems are being overcome, but it still mainly resides on the PC. It is expected that the development of VoIP will further reduce the revenues of telcos. This report provides information and statistics on VoIP in the Americas, primarily during 2006/2007, and includes USA, Canada and Latin America.
