Synopsis

Pirelli S.p.A. is the holding Company which owns and controls all the Group’s operations worldwide, with operations in 24 countries and across the 5 continents. The Group’s activities are focused on three core businesses, energy cables and systems, telecom cables and systems and tyres. In 2001, Pirelli acquired a stake in Olivetti through the SPV Olimpia. The company operates a manufacturing plant for power cables and fibre optic cables.
