Synopsis
Internode Pty Ltd was an Australian-owned national ISP, until December 2011 when the company was purchased by ASX listed iiNet. Internode continues to provides a wide range of services to the residential, business and enterprise market. Core offerings include:
- Fixed line and voice-over-IP telephone services;
- Voice and internet services;
- 3G wireless broadband;
- ADSL, FttH and NBN connectivity;
In the business and enterprise market Internode provides private IP networks utilising ADSL, E.SHDSL and Ethernet access; complete with data centre, hosting & virtual private server solutions. Recent innovations include entertainment packages based on IP television for the residential market; and a leadership position in delivering IPv6 and National Broadband Network services.
Strong growth continues in ADSL broadband, in particular the Naked ADSL2+ product line. Another key focus is the Fibre to the Premises market, and Internode is one of the first accredited Retail Service Providers on the National Broadband Network. Fibre broadband and telephone services are also continuing to growing strongly in the ‘greenfields’ housing developments, in which Internode is a key player.
