Synopsis

This report has been archived. arly in 2009 Hutchison Telecommunications (Australia) Ltd and Vodafone Australia agreed to merge their Australian mobile telecommunications businesses. Hutchison, through its 3 brand, launched Australia’s first 3G network and services. The combined entity will provide coverage to 63% of the population with 3G services and to 95% of the population with 2G services. The merged entity will operate under the name VHA with products marketed under the Vodafone brand with the option to continue to operate the 3 brand. This report proves details of Hutchison’s operations up until the time of the merger.
