Global - Telecoms - Datacentres

Synopsis

Archived report. This report was archived in June 2004 and has not been updated. With an increase in data services both in the business and the residential market, the market for outsourcing, MASP, CRM and data centres will continue to grow. Significant growth will start to emerge in the 2005-2008 period. Cut throat competition in the corporate market and overcapacity have caused severe damage to the industry. However, residential broadband and content networks will be driving the recovery. Over the next decade the technology base of the industry will need to change from telecommunications to IT.
