Global - Public Data - Satellite - VSAT Networks (Archived in 2003)

Synopsis

VSAT stands for Very Small Aperture Terminal – a reference to a particular type of receiver dish, around 2.5 metres in diameter, which can provide private data networking capabilities relatively inexpensively for large multinational corporations. This reports describes developments in VSAT and provides early statistics up until about 2001.
