Global - Mobile Data - HSPA & IMS

Synopsis

Operators continue to move forward with HSPA in 2009 and there are now hundreds of commercial HSDPA and HSUPA deployments around the world. Operators around the world are also contemplating and deploying IMS; a mobile platform that makes seamless communications possible between fixed and mobile networks. The lure of interoperability of applications over the various networks is a very powerful tool for telcos in their battle to maintain their position in the market. This report includes information and analysis of the HSPA and IMS markets, including an overview of both HSUPA and HSDPA deployments and growth. The report also includes information on the adoption of IMS and major trials that have taken place.
