Global - Mobile Broadband - HSPA, LTE, WiMAX & IMS

Synopsis

Archived report. This report was archived in 2010 and has not been updated since. Operators continue to move forward with HSPA in 2010 and there are now hundreds of commercial deployments around the world. Operators are also looking to the future with over 100 operators committed to deploying LTE and over 500 WIMAX deployments taking place worldwide. Operators are also contemplating and deploying IMS; a mobile platform that makes seamless communications possible between fixed and mobile networks. The lure of interoperability of applications over the various networks is a very powerful tool for telcos in their battle to maintain their position in the market. This report includes information and broad statistics on the key mobile broadband markets, including HSPA, LTE, WiMAX and LTE.
