E-commerce encompasses all aspects of online commerce, from online shopping and auctions to electronic cash and home banking. Related services and content include portals, online education and health, the ability to work from home, teleconferencing etc. Despite the rapid growth of e-commerce over the past years, especially between businesses, it has recently slowed following the industry downturn, and radical approaches will be necessary to regenerate its growth and achieve its full potential.
