Global - Electronic Trading and Content Market Analysis 2003

Synopsis

E-commerce encompasses all aspects of online commerce, from online shopping and auctions to electronic cash and home banking. Related services and content include portals, online education and health, the ability to work from home, teleconferencing etc. Despite the rapid growth of e-commerce over the past years, especially between businesses, it has recently slowed following the industry downturn, and radical approaches will be necessary to regenerate its growth and achieve its full potential. New vehicles like m-commerce are not seen as being very successful, and content is still not attractive enough to create much market pull. Improved broadband facilities are essential. This report gives an overview of the entire e-commerce market, with references to detailed reports on each aspect of that market.
