Synopsis

Next Generation Networks (NGN) are replacements for legacy telephony networks operated by the major telecommunications providers in Australia. Investment in NGN’s enables service providers to offer corporate customers a range of sophisticated voice and data services such as Virtual Private Networks (VPN). Telstra is at the forefront of NGN developments in Australia with a series of projects underway which will transform their network into an all IP environment.
