Synopsis

Back in 2001 BuddeComm organised a National Broadband Summit for local councils. This has been followed up by mini summits, in which over 50 Councils have been participating. It is critical that local councils and regional communities play a leading role in the broadbanding of their council/region. They will have to set the Broadband Agenda with their vision and strategies. Once this is in place they can work together with operators to implement a local broadband network. This report is a collection of case studies which we have gathered during our travels.
