Vodafone Fiji signs its up 600,000th customer
Fijian mobile operator Vodafone Fiji has celebrated 14 years of operations in the country by announcing the signing of its 600,000th customer. The mobile operator began offering GSM-900 services in 1994 and its network now comprises 121 base stations, offering coverage of more than 60% of Fiji’s population, predominantly on the two largest islands of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.
