Internet Explorer 8 Compatibility

Since the release of Internet Explorer 8 in recent weeks we have become aware that not all of our site displays correctly in this release of internet explorer.

We are working to resolve these issues accross our site.

In the meantime Internet Explorer 8 provides a method to correct this rendering problem, for our site and also for others you may experience problems with.

This feature is called 'Compatibility Mode'

To turn on Compatibility Mode click the highlighted button shown in the image below. This will turn compatibility mode on and off as you require.

 

If you do not see this button on your IE 8 Browser. You can turn on compatibility mode by clicking on 'Tools' and then clicking on 'Compatibility View'. See the image below.

The menu item 'Compatibility View Settings' provides additional facilities including the ability to manage the sites you have selected compatibility mode for. See image below.
